The Ashery is a bulk foods store in Ohio's Amish Country.
About the Project
The Ashery was getting ready to start selling their products online and needed an ecommerce store integrated with their existing WordPress website.
As a bulk food store it was important for them to clearly communicate with their customers the size(s) of the products listed on the website.
To meet these needs, we integrated Woocommerce with their existing website and added custom functionality.
The custom functionality we added allows the Ashery to optimize efficiency by prepackaging their bulk foods and listing predetermined weights for each product. Then when a customer orders a product on the website the Ashery finds a product that is within ~5% of the size the customer ordered (but never less).
